Schedule to release January 17, 2006!

The first annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial ride is a wrap! What great fun, incredible/insane riding and a fitting tribute to Terry Reid..aka Mr. Miyagi.

We covered 3 campsites and 15 or so people over 4 days at Meadow Lake. What an awesome weekend. We had freezing cold nights, snow and beautiful sunny warm weather all in 24 hours!

The highlight of the riding was Thomas Opre, from Tahoe Films, who flew out from Montana to film us rock crawling for his next video, Mountains and Mud II. We took Thomas all over the Fordyce area and filmed in several locations along the trail. On Friday evening, we watched Mountains and Mud I. On Saturday night, about 10 of us crowded around the fire and watched Sled Heads II. I highly recommend both DVD's! Sled Heads 2 has the most insane opening sequence and 60 minutes of just unreal scenery, that is just beautifully shot.

The highlight of the trip, was passing around Terry's helmet in a moment of reflection on each person's memory of Terry. He would have HATED IT! Sorry dude.

March 8, 1958 to June 2, 2006

Unlike some other "ATV" websites.....WE ACTUALLY RIDE and then we bring back the photos and vids to get you fired up! This past weekend, was the Mina, Nevada ride. Obviously, I didn't go...thanks Chadd....but Larry, Bill, Dave, D2 and more did go....and they took lots of photos. So look for those soon.

One of the cool things about the desert, is there's lots of old cool stuff that people do, or just don't feel like bringing home. Like ...cars. So what do you do?

I'd been meaning to do this for a long time. The news page was growing longer and longer. But...finally, some one on another "ATV" website, reiterated that the page was too long. So since I had downtime with the ankle, I decided to fix it.

Chadd was at the Boreal Sled races....so Dusty, Kenan and I headed up....and I ended up with a REALLY bad day.

Recently, I had to head out to Mammoth Mountain for the Far West Ski Racing Championships. I had driven to Mammoth before, but only from the LA direction and it was at night. So, while driving home I couldn't resist snapping off some pictures of the drive back on 395. 395 is the most scenic highway in California, hands down.

Here are the photos to prove it.

Additionally, check out the infamous Dusy-Ershim trail photos. I say "infamous", because I snapped over 100 photos myself and quite frankly, had some of the funniest and coolest shots ever. Unfortunately, Jack is the only human other than myself to see them. The night I finished them, and I showed them to Jack, I went to bed to finish the next day. When I woke up, my hard drive had a fatal error. Gone.

Larry, Dusty and I tried to head back to Yuba Gap....LOL...Not. Bummer, cause we were prepared for Ice Racing too!! It was snowing in Auburn. So we decided to go to the area around Grass Valley(Washington and Graniteville).

Things didn't quite go this smoothly.... Check out the photos and video.

Larry (oldtrucks) and I went for a ride in the finest powder, I've seen in the Sierra's in years. It was so dry and fluffy, that you couldn't even make a snowball.

As you can see....I didn't adapt to the situation very well. I think I may need therapy.
