Cool, but I'm sure it's blocked from work so I'll miss the festivities.

Re: King Of The Hammers LIVE!
I don't understand why there are two days. Do you guys run the same course on two different days and combine the times, or is the one course split up over two different days? Something else?

Re: King Of The Hammers LIVE!
Eric,
On Sunday Feb 3, the King Of The Motos races. Then on Thursday, the EMC (Every Man Challenge) and the UTV's race on the course. On Friday, is the Ultra4 race...that's the grand daddy..the big boys. The main race on Friday is 3 laps, Lap 1 is mostly desert for 52 miles, then Lap 2 is 63 miles of mostly rock crawling....nasty rock crawling, and Lap 3 is a repeat (mostly) of Lap 2 with some minor variations. Our race on Thursday is Lap 1 and Lap 2...so 115 miles.
So you'll be able to watch us start on that web cast at 9am on Thursday.
As for scoring.....the UTV's are divided into 4 classes....unlimited, production 1000, 800 and 700. There is an overall winner (first one in) and then winners of each class. I'm racing in the Production 1000 class. The EMC is basically semi-normal rigs....there's Pro Stock and Modified class.....and the Ultra4 are the big boys...with 800hp motors....$5000 shock packages....tube frames....pretty much anything goes in terms of design...as long as you meet the safety requirements. A top class Ultra4 rig will set you back about 100 grand or more.
