Maxxis Bighorns on new polaris 850 xp
I read alot on hear about the bighorns but my question is has anybody put them on a new polaris 850xp with stock rims. I have 26x8x14 fronts and 26x10x14 rears now, I am looking at puttiing 26x9x14 fronts and 26x11x14 rear tires. Does anyone know if they will fit my stock rims without rubbing anywhere.

i cant say for sure but if you look at your front tie-rod on both sides and if you have over 1/2-3/4 inch the should fit fine. Im sure some one with a polaris will chime in soon several here swear by them.

on my yamaha the bighorns did rub a bit on the fenders so i cut off that portion of the fender.
remember a 25" bighorn actually measures 26"

Thanks for the reply Ghost Rider, I am looking to order mine next week for my 850 xp. If anyone is intrested look up Treverton,pa. or rac, pa. on utube. This is where I get to ride most of the time. Mostly coal region area and flat trails, some rock climbs but nothing like out west.

Due to some $$$ issues i couldn't get the bighorns till now, and boy are they an awesome tire. Smooth ride and great handling. Only question is what amt. of air pressure do most of you guys use in your bighorns, i have 5.5 in mine back and front.
Thanks Craig

They are an awesome tire. They make the quad feel so much smoother on trails. Just a great all around good tire.MillerTime wrote:Due to some $$$ issues i couldn't get the bighorns till now, and boy are they an awesome tire. Smooth ride and great handling.
