Idle screw stuck in the carburator on a kodiak
I was rejetting my kodiak 450 and found out that the idle screw is stuck in the carb. I could turn it half a turn in both direction but no more and i screwed up the flat head. I was piss, have to bring it at work tomorrow to find a way to remove it and hope that my dealer has the screw on hand so i can have my bike for the weekend.
Bummer.

after an hour of hard work it finally came loose. Damn a new carb is not under 400$ and the screw is just 24$ so i decided it had to come out, next time has soon has i feel the brass giving up ill stop there and heat it straight away. Had t cut a little bit of the aluminium of the carb to get low enought to get a good grip on it but i dont think its going to matter there enought thread left.

FYI,
Moose makes rebuild kits for carbs that include replacement jets and the mixture screw. Plus its cheaper than the stock kit which gives you less.
Just did one for a Rhino and was surprised at what all they give you.
