Went out on our Portage/Windber ride once again. The melting/re-freezing made for some interesting travel and alot of anal-puckering(don't know how else to describe it!) Started the day out on ice, started turning slushy and by the ride back, it was ice again!
Washed the quads today(Monday)...high of 56 today, now turning colder and snowing again! Next week will be interesting as temps won't make it out of the 20s.
Here are some shots...
THE TIRE VALVE THAT SNAPPED OFF. THIS WAS A FIRST FOR US! We used my Popo to winch it up on one side to remove the tire. Our riding partner used to work at a CanAm dealer and they actually met us at the road, took the wheel back to the shop, fixed the valve and brought it back...all at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon!

I've been told I joke around too much.
So one day I tried being serious.
Everybody laughed!

It actually was warmer towards evening...mid 30s @ 9 pm as compared to lower 20s @ 11 am! We had the warm front moving in during the night.
