1-16-10 Spencer Cr Ride

Postby ACLakey » Sat Jan 16, 2010 8:55 pm

My buddy decided he HAD to have new Can-Am Renegade X so we needed to get out and break it in. Don afraid to get it dirty.

Image

He is not the most experienced rider and we could not talk him into a smaller quad so we came prepared.

Image

What a great place to unload and head up the creek.

Steve with his happy face.

Image

We made our way through a cinder pit and the boys had to climb it.

Image

Dad refusing to be cold.

Image

Up the creek we found a little snow, some of the roads and trails we have used in the past were blocked off so we made our way the long way around. Here is one of my favorite places to camp and fish, seems like a good place for lunch.

What a crew!

Image

About to get whacked with a stick for throwing snowballs

Image

We had a great ride back down the other side of the creek and messed around in a play area. Don getting over the new quad feel and decides to get a little dirty.

Image

He soon realizes being wet is cold.

Image

All in all it was a great ride. It is amazing how little snow is here in January.

Shoot me an PM and I will send you my phone number. There is too much for me to type here about riding this country.

Here is a reveiw I did on the PN40, I really like this handheld

The Topo 8 software that comes with the unit is not the most user friendly but is very capible. Hope this helps.

I was eyeballing the Renegade 800 XC but about shit my pants when I saw the price... and I thought Polaris and Honda were pricey

That quad is seriously badass, and I`m jealous.

Looks like you all had a fun day and the new quad owner is all grins :D
