Rubicon Trail July 9, 10 & 11

Well we made it back home safely. We had the time of our lives. We left Tahoe trail head on Thurs. at about 9:00 am with 12 ATVs. We got to Rubicon springs at about 4:00 pm. This is because we stop a lot to take pictures. On Friday we headed toward Loon at 8:00 am. At 1:00 pm we made it to Little Sluice. We ate lunch and swam for 1.5 hours at Spider Lake then 8 of our party turned back to Rubicon Springs camp (I guest they had had enough). Four of us went on to Loon Lake and then back to Rubicon Springs. It took us 1.5 hours from Little Sluice to Loon Lake then 3 more hours to get from Loon Lake to camp. This was without a doubt the toughest day of riding I have ever experienced. On Saturday we rode out to the Tahoe trail head. Cadillac Hill is a blast in either direction.
