You took some great pictures! Did you tell Gage you knew Carrie and Loren? He's a great guy.........he showed us a good time last year. Took us into Jarbidge and then on the Merritt Mtn from the very top down. Both were great rides. Enjoy your time there. Tell Gage we said hi.

We rode from Charleston to Jarbidge yesterday and the scenery was even better than Merritt. Went through Copper Basin and over the pass and looped back to staging. Gage said we need to come back for 4th of July and ride to Jarbidge for the parade, says the Chicken Coop may be available.

The 5th wheel is fantastic but it's up at Yuba Gap, we brought the small trailer and quads out for this trip. We're staying in Elko and the hotel has us hooked up.

The smoke has made it's way here too so the views aren't as good as they could be, but still impressive. We rode down in the Ruby Mtn's today and the haze was much worse than up north

Wild Horse's Chicken Coop

The chicken coop is a nice setup and Gage definitely lets you know that he has it! We went to the coop twice for cocktails and we had a fish feed there.

Larry, your latest pictures we even prettier than the Merritt Mtn ones. I do enjoy the Wild Horse area for camping and riding. We camped at the state park last year and I think it was $11 per day and this year we paid $20 for a week at the Indian campgrounds. Can't beat that price!

Nevada is a amazing place. it blows my mind that you can find stuff like Copper Basin in the desert. You would never guess that stuffs there by driving on hwy 80.

The people of Northern Nevada thank the engineers that laid out I-80 daily. Everyone that drives through thinks Nevada is a waste land of sage and rock, but just a a few miles in either direction of the interstate there is some incredible scenery.
