1st Annual Mr. Miyagi Memorial Ride
The core ATV Obsession riders have all talked and we've settled on dates and location.
When: Sept 15, 16, 17, 18
Where: Meadow Lake
Goals:
1) To remember Terry on an annual basis
2) Raise awareness of getting regular full physicals after 40
Riding: ATV or Motorcycle - Green sticker
This date was selected so everyone has time to plan. The weather can be warm or cool. It can rain, but usually not. It will be chilly at night. This lake is at 8,000 feet. The camping season is over, so it's generally not crowded at all.
The location was a favorite of Terry's. It contains many lakes to visit, standard roads, fire trails, night riding, star watching, hard core rock Crawling, Mines, fishing, semi-improved campsites and USFS Restrooms.
North on Hwy 89
(Toward Sierraville) (RESET odometer at exit)
14.8 miles Turn Left at Jackson Meadows
(Sign before turn says Weber Lake, Independence Lake and Jackson Meadows)
Go EXACTLY 9.7 miles (just past Weber Lake) turn left toward Meadow lake.
(There is no sign for Meadow lake...just a sign about fees at the lake, message board and blue 301 Forest Service Sign.)
It's 11.1 Miles to Meadow Lake.
(The road turns to dirt in about 100 yards.)
From Sierraville on 89
Turn left at Jackson Meadows and repeat above.
Exactly camp location at the lake unknown at the moment...but turn left at the Summit City sign...concrete dance floor on the right...we'll be somewhere on the left.
The last 10 miles of road is dirt, and bumpy sometimes...but is completely ok for mobile homes, trailers and SUV's. It takes about 45 minutes to go the last 10 miles.

I'm going to shoot for it
Should be fun even without the freeway driving time.
I was really sorry to hear about Terry, He emailed me 2 weeks earlier and I thought I had time to answer back.
Just goes to show you, you should't procrastinate.

How many women are going?
My wife is considering on going but, wants to know how many if any other women are going?
Plus how much fuel for the 350 miles were going to drive do you think we will need?
Just need to figure it into the budget being gas at over $3 a gallon
Thanks
