Re: Reno To Dayton Valley Ride Pic's
Ken Hower demonstrates the proper way to do the Macarena to Dave. Problem is, with no music, even Ken's rhythm was questionable. (as if it wasn't WITH music)

Re: Yuba Pass
More pics of GG repairing his tire!! I didn't think it was possible. Ya know Eric, that's borderline mechanical.....
Not all of our Polaris quads are as unreliable as Mr. Hower's. I still wanna go on that tour as well. Never did get to see Gold Lake - thanks Ken!

But then again, you don't notice washers stuck to your back for hours on end.....Ken wrote:...most of that stuff...I wouldn't notice.

You're not supposed to go Full-Retard...but Angelo did....he apparently, has never heard of the concept of the "Weather forecast!". He showed up in shorts and t-shirt...no jacket...it was 38 degrees. Dude, you're talking about a guy that laid out flat on his quad to load it in the back of a mini va...

Hmmm, and I quote the first rule (and only rule) of the For Sale section - "Post a photo if you don't want to get picked on....and reply when sold."
Strike one and two. One more and you're outta here buddy.

Re: Getting into Bowman Lake
where is the best place to camp with toy haulers and be able to get to the the Bowman Lake area to ride without taking 49 or 89? I don't know how big your hauler is, but Bowman Lake Rd can get a little tricky in spots. There are a couple of 15 mph switchbacks that you may have difficulty with depen...

Re: Getting into Bowman Lake
Rode Bowman to Meadow this weekend. Clear all the way up. Couple patches of snow right before you get to Meadow, but they're just fun. You can ride around them if you want. Only thing I will warn you about - mosquitoes!!! They are ravenous!! Stopped at Catfish Lake for lunch and just about got carri...

Re: Eiger - COMPLETE REBUILD
So what's the moratorium before I can start ragging on you?? Well, I'm glad it was something simple - and stupid (see above old gasket in the return fuel line incident). Unfortunately the result is more money having to be spent fixing it. Still early in the season though, you haven't missed an...

Re: Eiger - COMPLETE REBUILD
Oh and BTW Mike, don't get too discouraged. My most recent triumph was over my Duramax. I took it down the week before Thanksgiving to do headgaskets and injectors. No small task. I managed to get it all back together in about a month, working weekends and evenings. I had issues though. And in the n...

Re: Eiger - COMPLETE REBUILD
So what all do you need Mike? Is the crank and cam toast? Everything else OK? Can you clean up the head journals and reuse it, or is that toast too? Need any help putting it all together? I just sold my old yellar 700 Poo, or I would have offered it to you. Would have been a good machine for you, pl...

Re: Dog Valley/Peavine
So when we went this time, I took 124 across to the big intersection with 668 and 509 coming in. We took 506 from there and connected with Peavine Rd. Coming back down we hit 509 and 668. I made a track file I just haven't done anything with it yet. I don't think I've been on the 34 road further nor...

Re: 4 boobs camp trip!
Wow! You guys might be my new camping heroes. This stuff does get old after a while: http://www.grizzlyguy.com/ATVs/2007-Plumas-Expedition/CampShot13DinnerIsServed/179569197_pPFUg-M-1.jpg So basically, you wanted something that looks exactly the same whether it's going in or coming out. Hopefully y...
