Yeah I just called 'em... they have one in stock so I put a deposit on it and am coming up there today (since I'm headed for Reno anyway) to finish the deal. :)

Thanks guys, you saved me a TON of $$$$$$$$.

$8700 is pretty much list on an 850 XP. I want a Camo 850 XP with ESP, list is $10,099 for a 2010 model (which I also want). There's still a $300 rebate even on 2010s, so I'm hoping to find someplace to drop another $500 off of that (or more)... I'd like to be at about $9300 or so on one. Once OTD o...

Where to find a deal on an 850 XP?

I'm starting to do some shopping around, and I'm trying to find a deal on an 850 XP. I've called four dealers... two have given me prices, and neither really want to budge much off of MSRP. The best "deal" I've been quoted is $400 off, but the guy didn't mention that there's a $300 rebate on 2009's ...

Well they won't be getting any business from me. I just called to find out if they had any of those Kolpin fuel pack brackets in stock. The guy had no idea what I was even talking about, and ultimately said they don't carry anything from them. What the hell kind of ATV dealer of any size doesn't at ...

I'll check them tonight. Stupid local Polaris dealer (in Livermore) isn't open on Mondays, as I was going to call and see what a set would cost. What is it with powersports dealers not being open on Mondays??? Sigh.

The thing that gets me the most is his wife and kids where there. And SHE didn't say something????? Holy crap. What woman isn't scared to death of her kids getting hurt?

It looks like Pirate4x4 has pulled the thread. Bummer. I say make sure everybody knows the guy is an idiot. It's kinda like that Stephen Foster guy who was on Wife Swap a few months back, who, on national TV, degraded his "swapped" wife for being from the south and being conservative, while touting ...

I may need a clutch alignment on mine; I've been blowing belts about every 1200 miles. I carry a spare and have learned to change it in the field... but it takes a while to get all the chunks out of the ducting and stuff. Blew my last one in Moab in 2007. Must not have liked running 50+ mph for a ha...

I've seen quite a few Outlanders in the backs of trucks around here... and one on trails. But I've seen more Grizzlies on trails than anything else. I've only seen I think two Sportsmans, not including mine.

I'm hesitant to deal with Bomb too especially having owned one of their sleds and know it to be a complete piece of crap in a number of ways. The REV design is nose-heavy (bigtime) and is almost dangerous it's so tippy... not stable at all on a sidehill if you can't keep a ski in the air, which is a...

I have over 800 miles on my '05 Sportsman 800 EFI and it's great. Although the second master cylinder appears to be going bad, because my rear brake pedal is going soft again.

So aside from that, it's great.

A guy I never rode with but who was associated with the previous incarnation of my ATVExplorers group had an Outlander 400 and cracked the frame on it from ordinary riding. While I'm sure they've corrected that problem, it would make me wonder. Plus I don't trust differentials that are "supposed" to...

Easy... if they pass, millions of acres of ATVing and snowmobile land will be locked up by the greenies, and more and more will follow.
