Re: Forgive me Quadders, for I have sinned.
Yeah...ATV tracks are much smaller than the UTV tracks. The XP is a big bastard....I'd probably just get the UTV tracks...that way 2 friends could go. I'm really hoping Camoplast makes a bracket for the XP....praying actually. As for the Bighorns....I love my 1.0....no reason to change....I'm no sa...

Re: Forgive me Quadders, for I have sinned.
Just curious why the Big Horn 1.0 not 2.0? Have people been cutting the 2.0s?

Re: Forgive me Quadders, for I have sinned.
Looks nice, and fox piggy back shocks most be a fun ride. I just knew this was going to happen by tracking all your post :D . can you swap your tracks over to it  Yeah..it was only a matter of time. No...actually you can't. A couple reasons....1) UTV tracks are longer and wider than ATV trac...

Re: Broke Exhaust
My extended warranty covers 0 to do with exhaust, and muffler. Even though Polaris came out with an updated part to prevent this from happening in the future :( Part: $160 Labor: $60 The good news.... My ball joints, and tie rod ends are 100% covered under warranty. Which is odd since they are items...

Re: Winter is back...
Got a little over 2' here. Wish it would have been that, and stayed like that... but we ended up getting half night a rain, and then 3-5" more.. now the snow is less fun! At least it's getting COLD at night so if I go out in the AM I can have a little fun on crust/slush before it turns to all mush! ...

Re: Polaris Sportsman Heady Duty front springs
I have them...eliminated sag in the front. Yep! Listen to Ken, well worth it! I did the same thing too actually though :( I ordered 4 of front or rear (I forget) and had to re-order. I actually have a spare set of Fronts or Rears springs I can check if you wanted to replace all of your springs. Ken...

Re: Broke Exhaust
If you have a warranty, it will probably be covered. My 2005 did the same thing.....The new pipe is 2 pieces with a joint, right where the break is.... Also...GET A SPRING PULLER! you will suffer without it. Sorry for the newbie question but why do I need a spring puller for working on the exhaust?

Broke Exhaust
Cruising around on the Sportsman 800 today and all of a sudden it sounds like my engine is going to explode! It turns out the exhaust pipe broke off right behind where your right leg is while riding! It cracked, and tore off all the way around. This area is about 1/4" from what appears to be a weld ...

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...
yup..that will cause slipping. To address some of your other stuff.... Plowing, should always be done in LOW range. If you aren't going over 15mph...you should be in low. If it was just the belt and not the oil...change the belt is a 10 minute thing. Do you have an OEM clutch setup? I stay in low u...
